| Karbunck Lottinger "Afrika Jazz" (Maxi Online Release / 2009 / Deja-Tunes / GER)
Direction: Breakbeat, Electronica, House
Afrika Jazz - the first musical sign of life of the artistic mind of the lifestyler Karbunck Lottinger.
Karbunck Lottinger (born Christian Jülich) has been working as a freelance designer for several companies all over the world, such as Universal Music, Mercury Records, Burton Snowboards, Vans and many others. His own art brand NABF (NoArtButFun - nabf.de) has attracted quite a lot of attention since 1999. Since 2003 he has been part of the Hong Kong based Toydesign company "Coarsetoys".
Karbunck Lottinger grew up singing, playing the piano, the guitar and drums in different bands. While deejaying in local clubs around Northern Germany, he developed his own style of music always searching for the soul in it. As a result of this artistic process he has produced some unique tracks of his own.
We are proud to present his very first release on Deja-Tunes: The broken, jazz and percussion spiced yet forward pushing club smashing tune - Afrika Jazz! It’s coming along with a remix by Treshold Project, a fusion between rare groove and a subtle electronic feel. Beyond that, it offers you a fine deephouse chilled interpretation by Aaron Bingle (Hotel Costes/Brazilectro).
"You can hear how they added some of their African rhythms!"
