The Bas Lexter Ensample – ein Thema zum Entdecken und Lieben. Bas Lexter hat den Jazz, liebt das Big Band Feeling, ist manchmal funky, manchmal karibisch, meistens schwarz und manchmal weiß und immer schön bewußt old school. Bas Lexter schlüpft dabei à la Lenny Kravitz in die 5-6 verschiedenen Egos seiner Bandprotagonisten und hat das Talent dazu einer dieser angesagten, raren und ganz besonderen Namen dort draußen zu werden.

In Musikliebhaberkreisen ist der Name bereits positiv aufgefallen. Obwohl der Macher eine scheue Katze ist, hat er es doch nicht geschafft nicht von Nokia Frankreich entdeckt zu werden, oder auch schon den einen oder anderen Mix auf Vinly veröffentlicht zu haben (Resense/Yo Mama/Universal). Produktionen für Ganesha,& Ragga D, aber eben auch Asher D./Music oF Life gehen auf das Konto des Multitalents.

Es ist leider immer schwer einen Sound zu definieren. “The Bas Lexter Ensample“ hat definitiv einen eigenen Style, ein unfassbares Setup an Samples und vinyl-affinen Atmosphären, beeinflußt von und angereichert mit allen möglichen Stilistiken, Varianten und Genres.

The Bas Lexter Ensample – a new artist to be discovered and to be loved. Bas Lexter himself has the Jazz, loves the Big Band feeling, is sometimes funky, sometimes Caribbean, most times black and sometimes white, but always aware of keeping his old school flavour. Bas Lexter slips into the different roles and egos of the 5-6 band protagonists à la Lenny Kravitz and has the talent  to become one of these renowned, rare and special names out there.

In music-lover circles his project has already gained a lot of appreciation. Though Bas Lexter is a ‘shy cat’, he was discovered by Nokia France and managed to be released on different 12” vinyls (Resense/Yo Mama/Universal). Beyond that, productions for Ganesha & Ragga D, but also for Asher D./Music of Life are part of the activities of this multitalented artist.

It is not always easy to name or even to categorize a sound. The Bas Lexter Ensample has a unique style for sure, an unbelievable setup of samples and vinylistic atmospheres, being touched by and mixed up with a lot of different kinds of styles, variations and genres.
